Eterna Motorworks Custom Build & Service Policy

Eterna Motorworks provides professional automotive customization, fabrication, refinishing, installation, and vehicle modification services. Each project involves skilled labor, specialized materials, and real-world variables that cannot be controlled with factory-level automation.

This policy exists to establish clear, professional expectations for all customers.

By scheduling services, submitting payment, or delivering a vehicle to Eterna Motorworks, the customer agrees to the following terms.

Nature of Custom Automotive Work

Custom automotive work is not mass production. It involves fabrication, surface preparation, coating, fitting, assembly, and refinement performed by trained technicians using professional tools and materials.

Because of this, no two vehicles or finishes will ever be identical. Minor variations in appearance, alignment, texture, surface character, or performance are normal and do not indicate improper workmanship.

Paint, Coatings & Surface Finishes

All paint, refinishing, coatings, wraps, and surface treatments are applied using professional automotive methods and materials.

Surface appearance may vary due to lighting, viewing angle, panel material, clear-coat depth, surface leveling, and environmental conditions. These variables affect how color, gloss, metallic, and pearl finishes appear and are inherent to custom refinishing and coating work.

Material Differences

Vehicles may include metal, aluminum, composite, fiberglass, carbon fiber, or mixed materials. Each material reflects, absorbs, and displays finishes differently.

Visual variation between panels made from different materials is normal and does not constitute a defect.

Protective Films, Wraps & Coatings

Surface-applied products such as vinyl wraps, paint protection film, and ceramic coatings are influenced by panel shape, edges, surface texture, and environmental exposure. Seams, edges, texture, or gloss variation may be present and are considered normal.

Vehicle Modifications & System Behavior

Modern vehicles are integrated systems. Changes to wheels, suspension, body panels, coatings, electronics, or powertrain components may affect ride quality, handling, sensor behavior, noise, appearance, or drivability.

These changes are inherent to modification and do not indicate improper installation.

Performance & Mechanical Modifications

Any modification that alters engine, drivetrain, exhaust, or electronic systems changes factory operating conditions. Eterna Motorworks does not guarantee factory warranty status, OEM behavior, or long-term durability after modification.

Project Scope

Eterna Motorworks is responsible only for the services and components listed in the approved invoice or work order. Additional requests, revisions, or changes may require added time and cost.

Timelines & Scheduling

All completion dates are estimates. Custom automotive work depends on parts availability, supplier lead times, curing processes, and technical complexity.

Eterna Motorworks reserves the right to extend timelines when required to ensure proper workmanship, material performance, or quality standards.

Vehicle Storage & Condition

Vehicles are stored in a professional shop environment. Minor dust, surface contamination, or shop exposure is normal.

Pre-existing wear, cosmetic flaws, or mechanical issues may become visible during a project. Eterna Motorworks is not responsible for conditions unrelated to its workmanship.

Payments & Disputes

All deposits and payments become non-refundable once work begins or parts are ordered.

Disputes related to appearance, timelines, or the inherent characteristics of custom automotive work do not constitute grounds for chargebacks or payment reversals.

Media & Documentation

Eterna Motorworks may photograph or document vehicles for records or portfolio use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Abandoned Vehicles

Vehicles not collected or paid for within a reasonable period after completion may incur storage fees and be subject to lien or disposal procedures under applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

Eterna Motorworks is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of value, or incidental expenses resulting from vehicle modification.

Force Majeure

Delays or interruptions caused by events beyond Eterna Motorworks’ control, including supplier delays, shipping issues, natural events, or labor disruptions, do not constitute breach of agreement.

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated at any time. The most current version published on the Eterna Motorworks website governs all services.
